Planned engineering work

Details of planned engineering works on the Thameslink network.

To maintain and improve the railway, Network Rail carries out regular planned engineering works on our network.

This work is usually done at weekends, on bank holidays and after 10pm during the week – but major work may also affect services at other times.

We will provide information here as soon as it is available, but delays in industry planning process mean that late notice of alterations can be expected. Please recheck your journey on the day of travel.

Additionally, services may be subject to alteration as part of our amended timetable.

See our live departures and arrivals for up-to-the-minute information.
